On April 23, Dr. Jorge Oceja presented Playcomp during a conference organized by the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) at its Ibiza campus. This conference was part of LECTURE (Introducing Leading European Competences into Teacher Training Standard to Ensure Ukraine’s Resilience – Project 101179602 ), an Erasmus+ project whose objective is to incorporate a series of European competencies into the Ukrainian teacher training standard, thereby strengthening the resilience of its education system.
The presentation was aimed at Ukrainian teachers and researchers who were visiting the island. Oceja spoke about the role of video games in the lives of teenagers, the project’s objectives, the reasons for using independent video games, and how Playcomp works. She also showcased the games selected for the project, which are currently being used in classrooms.
